From KNEM/KNMO website: "Appleton City held off a fourth-quarter rally and edged
Rich Hill, 22-20, Friday night, spoiling the Tigers homecoming game. The
Bulldogs led, 14-0, at the half after a pair of Garrett Wade touchdown runs in
the first two quarters. Rich Hill pulled within eight, 14-6, midway through the
third quarter when sophomore quarterback Jacob Thompson teamed with senior Josh
Robb for a 71-yard touchdown pass. The Bulldogs responded with a Michael Doody
T-D run for a 22-6 advantage after three quarters before Thompson threw
touchdown passes to Geoffrey Cumpton and Robb during the final twelve minutes.
The sophomore quarterback ran for a two-point conversion after Cumpton's
touchdown but was stopped just short of the end zone after Robb's second
touchdown with 3:18 to play in the game. Thompson completed eleven-of-fourteen
passes for 210 yards in the loss. Appleton City's 1-2 and Rich Hill's 0-3. ...
The Tigers are to visit Adrian next Friday night. The Blackhawks are 1-2 after a
7-0 upset of Cass-Midway Friday night."
