SHOW-ME BOWL TELECAST SHOWCASES THE CLASS 2, 4 AND 6 TITLE GAMES
For the 12th
consecutive year
Fox Sports Midwest
and Fox Sports
Kansas City will televise
the Missouri high school football
championships, a day-after Thanksgiving tradition.
This year, Fox Sports Midwest
and Fox Sports Kansas City will broadcast the MSHSAA Class 2, 4 and 6 Show-Me
Bowl championship games on Friday, Nov. 27. Live coverage begins at 1 p.m.
and spans approximately nine continuous hours. Between games and at
halftime, Fox Sports Midwest 's Pat Parris and analysts Danan Hughes and
Michael Young will break down the games from the network's studio in St.
Louis .
Fox Sports Midwest has
televised Show-Me Bowl action since 1998, and this is the network's third year
showing three live games
from the Edward Jones Dome.
The Show-Me Bowl telecast utilizes the same
Fox Sports announcers, producers, technicians and graphics used on MLB,
NHL, NFL and Big 12 games. The thrilling 2008 Class 5 championship game
telecast recently won the 2009 Mid-America
Emmy Award for best Live Sporting Event.
The Show-Me
Bowl games will air
regionally on Fox Sports Midwest , Fox Sports Kansas City and Fox Sports
Indiana, which combined reach nearly 6 million cable and satellite television
homes in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa and Indiana (see below for
availability of each game).
