Top Games No. 10 Metro League showdown

10)  Westminster(2-0) at Lutheran North(2-0)

Metro League bragging rights will be on the line Saturday when Westminster visits Lutheran North in a top game in St. Louis.  Westminster, the No. 7 ranked team in Class 4 improved to 2-0 with a 33-6 victory over St. Dominic as Brendan Bognar passed for a touchdown, Steve Webb and Caleb Miller combined for 165 rushing yards.  The Wildcats opened their season with a 27-0 shutout victory over Festus.  This season they average 30 points on offense and allow just 3 on defense per contest. Bognar has passed for 150 yards-per-game and a pair of touchdowns, while Miller leads the way on the ground with 133 total years and two scores.

A season ago Westminster earned a 41-14 victory, but this year a more experienced Crusader awaits while the younger Wildcats must venture onto the road.

Lutheran North followed up their 49-0 season opening victory at Clayton with a 72-7 beat down at Principia.  Cortez Smmons passed for a score and rushed for a pair of touchdowns in week 2.  Martize Jenkins added a pair of touchdowns, averaging better than 7 yards-per-carry. Head coach Brian Simmons opened the season with 16 returning starters from North's semifinal team of a season ago.
