GV lead 42-40 late in 4th quarter and fumbled on savannah 5 yd line. Savannah scored from there and GV fumbled again on next possession. Great game!

In a class 2 battle, Liberty #2, Caruthersville #3 state ranks it was to be an exciting scoring fest. Caruthersville led 12-0 early, but Liberty battled to a 27-20 halftime lead. In a back and forth game, Liberty finally pulled away in the second half for a 60 to 28 score. A LOT of talent on the field for both teams! Very entertaining!
