Sooners Build Hall, Now Ready for Lodgeing

Back in early June when Soonerscoop.com last talked with , shortly after he had received an offer from Oklahoma, the 2015 wide receiver prospect admitted to not knowing a whole lot about the Oklahoma program. That all changed after Wednesday, when the 6-foot-1 and 185-pound Cedar Hill, Texas product took a trip north to Norman, Okla. with his 2015 teammate, [db]Darrell Miller and took in a Sooner practice up close.

"It actually went well. Everything went great up there. The facilities were nice, the environment, everything was good. The dorms, the education, everything was great," Lodge stated.

With Lodge, a participant in the RivalsChallenge presented by Under Armour, about to be a junior, he is already a household name on the recruiting scene that has seen him pick up 10-offers already from programs like Auburn, Baylor, Ohio State, Texas and most recently UCLA. Not only did this visit give him the chance to see Norman for the first time but also to meet wide receivers coach, Jay Norvell.

"I actually didn't meet coach Norvell until today," he replied when asked if he and Norvell have been in contact. "Mike Stoops was the one who recruited me. Today was my first time actually in Norman. I met the coaching staff, coach Norvell, they're great coach...
