Pierschbacher recaps today's visit

Class of 2014 offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher has been to Iowa City a number of times, but says today's visit was different because it gave him a chance to spend some time with several future Hawkeyes who were in town. Pierschbacher talks about Iowa's barbeque today, what he heard from the group of Iowa commits there, his upcoming junior year at Cedar Falls, and much more.

Q: Can you talk about the visit to Iowa today? What all did they have planned for you once you got there?

PIERSCHBACHER: Well, when we got there, we met with Coach Ferentz right away. He was kind of meeting with each player. Then we walked through the new indoor facility, talked with Coach Doyle about strength and conditioning, toured the campus, and had a player's board where we talked with some of the players. Then we went into position meetings with the coaches and talked with them. After that, we ate and that was about it.

Q: Was any of it different than some of the visits you have done there before?

PIERSCHBACHER: It was mostly the same, but it was nice being around some of the guys that are committed there and some others that are thinking about Iowa. It was kind of cool to talk to them and start building a relationship with them, and just seeing how excited they are to play for Iowa.
