A noted gym rat, Courtois has seen the fruits of his labor as all of his work in the off-season has helped him emerge as one of the top shooting threats in the Show-Me State.
Courtois has helped the Tigers to a 10-4 mark this season. He is a solid guard who makes the fundamental play and without flash handles the position with ease. A smooth shooting performer, his confidence has grown this season on the court and he is currently averaging 18.1 points per game for the Tigers.
Consistency has been the key for Courtois who has scored in double figures every game this season and averages more than three long range baskets each game.
A solid student in the classroom, Courtois is solid on the court. He has surpassed 500 career points and will have the opportunity to break several single game, season, and career records for the Tigers.
The ultimate team performer, Courtois finds his opportunities within the teams offense. He has connected on 41% from beyond the arc, 85% from the free throw line this season.
Work ethic is key for the St. James junior who hopes to continue his career at the next level. One to watch for the next season, opponents have quickly targeted Courtois as the focus of their defense. College coaches will begin targeting him as well.
