The chance to advance to the 2009 MSHSAA playoffs is very much up in the air in Class 6 where the lone playoff qualifier through week 9 play is the Rockhurst Hawklets who defeated Lee's Summit North 46-14. In the Hawklet victory senior Sal Belfonte had a productive night rushing just 6 times, averaging 24 yards-per-carry for 144 yards and scoring a pair of touchdowns.
